Biography
Alexander Tikhonov has 12 years in Russian national team. He is a champion of the World Military Games, Silver and Bronze medallist in Europe’s Championship and Silver, Bronze medallist in World University Games and 2 times Olympians.
Coach Alexander is an easy going, sociable coach, ready to help his clients fine-tune their performance in the water. Prior to joining Thanyapura, Coach Alexander spent 2 years on the Russian National Swim Team, a year as Head Coach for CSKA’s Swimming and Diving Military Team in Moscow, and 2 years at AAS Moscow as their High School and Middle School Coach. He holds a Degree as a Swimming and Gymnastics Coach from Uralgufk in Russia.
